This function is called by:

classifySpikes classifies waveforms and only returns good ones.
processRaw processes raw signal, extracts spikes. loads data directly from neuralynx
calcAlignPerf % main file for evaluation of alignment performance.
calcAlignPerf_allSims calculates the std of the align error for all simulations for a given noise level
runSimulatedEval detects and sorts spike of a simulated file. calculates statistics about performance.
posthocWhiten post-hoc whitening & upsampling of waveforms
