PURPOSE

reads raw continous data

SYNOPSIS

function [timestamps,dataSamples] = getRawData( filename, fromInd, toInd, fileFormat )

DESCRIPTION

reads raw continous data 
calls the appropriate routine for the data format used.

the fileFormat variable is defined in defineFileFormat.m (all possible values).

getRawCSCData reads the raw data from a neuralynx CSC file.
getRawTXTData read data from txt file

This function is called by:

processRaw processes raw signal, extracts spikes. loads data directly from neuralynx
generateSpiketrain_fromNcs takes a real raw trace that only contains noise from a Ncs file and uses it to build a simulated file.
